The Better Bean Difference

To ensure that our customers receive the finest and
freshest coffee anywhere, The Better Bean has formed
an alliance with a 102-year-old coffee roaster whose
bean quality and award-winning roasting recipes are
unmatched in the specialty coffee industry.

With more than a century of experience behind each
batch, our beans are roasted to order and immediately
delivered to our shop. There, our highly skilled
baristas follow strict guidelines to maximize freshness
and guarantee a truly unique coffee drinking
experience for our patrons.

At The Better Bean we go the extra mile to ensure that our coffee is always fresh.

Here are a few examples of what we mean...


Our coffee beans are stored in airtight containers and are ground immediately before being brewed.

Once our coffee is brewed it is held in an airport which (unlike a coffee-urn or a decanter) does not
continually reheat the coffee. This prevents our coffee from being burned.

We send our employees through an intensive twenty-hour training program where they learn proper
brewing techniques as well as the traditional Italian art of espresso making.

If an espresso shot takes less than 17 seconds or longer than 24 seconds to be extracted from the espresso
machine, it will not be added to a beverage.

We never resteam milk.
